I, Sherbyak Dmytro Mykhailovych, November 10, 1992. We shot an old man and his grandson. The grandson was about 15 years old. The command gave the order, they said to shoot them. They were just walking their dog. They said: shoot them.

Ukrainian Armed Forces, when they entered there and were already there, killed civilians. They raped women, girls. It’s true. To prevent “their own” from running away, and to stand till the end, they directed a mortar at them and shot at their own during the retreat, not allowing them to withdraw at all.

We had a group, they were in the house. I don’t know the house number. The house was destroyed in the explosion. We began digging one of the surviving soldiers out of the rubble. Ours were transmitting on the radio to the main that they are digging out a survivor, but the command ordered not to dig him out, but to finish him off”.
